SavingAdvice.com – Five Important Questions
This year I’m making more of an effort to make my actions meaningful.
This comes after a couple of years where I’ve found myself wondering, “Where did the time go?” I find myself getting distracted by the Internet or some other mindless entertainment and whole hours are suddenly gone. It’s not like whatever I was doing was important, or even interesting. It was simply wasted time. Since I want to get more out of every moment, I’ve started asking myself five questions when I catch myself in an activity that might be wasting my time.
As I’ve been doing this, I’ve realized that it can be applied to those who are trying to get their finances in order, as well as anyone trying to reach many other goals like weight loss or starting a business. When you hold your actions up to the five questions, you can really see where your time might be better spent. If I can’t answer yes to at least one of the five questions, I know I’m wasting time.
