Multiple Stream Lifestyle
What come to mind when you think about famous and wealthy people like: P. Diddy, Donald Trump, and Warren Buffett? Probably all that money they have! Well, I guarantee they didn’t get all that money by investing their time and effort in just one thing. These people have multiple streams of income coming into their lives all the time. That way, if one of them fails, they have the other ten streams to even it out and hold them over.
I was born and raised in a simple, small town. Most people just had one job – maybe two if they were really struggling. And then people had a hobby or something on the side. They could provide everything they needed for their family with that one job – but definitely not everything they ever wanted. But they were content with that – so they passed that way of life on to the next generation.
But then I came along. I knew I was different. I wanted more out of life. I wanted everything I wanted – or at least the means to get it. Years later I stumbled across products about multiple streams of income. I thought that was ridiculous because it seemed like another program that some broke guy came out with, so they everyone would buy it and he could get rich; like something that only worked for those few, lucky people. But then a few years after that it all became clear. It was possible – and everyone should be doing this – and in fact, I feel this is the only way to earn a ridiculously large amount of money. Because, remember, each of us is just one person…not ten. We could work all day, everyday, and not make as much money as some people we’ve all heard of. That’s why we need to set up ways for others to do the work, while we simply manage.
That’s how the people at the top do it.
Now, there are many ways to begin creating streams of income. Everyone is different, so my ways are not for everyone…don’t get frustrated if these specific ways do not work for you. I’m providing them to simply spark your creativity – and get you thinking…what could I be doing?
Thanks, so the Internet, there are tons of online tools and shops you can being using to make money for free! These are a few of the streams I’ve created over the years:
1. Create a website or blog – I would recommend this to everyone – even if your goal is not to make money It’s just a great way share your hobby with the world, or exercise your creativity. A few great places to get a free blog are: Tumblr, Wordpress, and Blogger. Or, if you’re proficient in HTML, CSS, etc. 2mhost is a great, cheap site to host your webpage.
2. Banners & Ads – Once you’ve created your blog, and started to get some traffic, you may want to add some ads, so when users click on them, you’ll receive a commission. Here are some popular programs: Adsense, Buysellads, and Bidvertiser.
3. One up an online shop – These are FREE! and there’s one for almost anything you can think of, but here are a few of the more popular ones: Cafepress, Zazzle, and Spreadshirt. When users purchase the products you design, you’ll be given a commission.
4. Affiliate programs – In addition to ads and banners, you can also sign up for affiliate programs. They work the same as online shops. When a user clicks on the link to the affiliate site or your page and makes a purchase, you receive a commission off what they bought. Here are some popular ones: Amazon Associates, Commission Junction, and Clickbank – and many popular apparel sites have them like: Deezteez, etc.
5. Sell stuff online – Ebay and Half.com are great way to clean out your basement or attic of unwanted items you never use. Ebay is a great way to earn some quick cash. And Half.com I like even more, because there are no listing fees, and you can have your item listed until someone buys it. But, Half.com is only for selling books, dvds, games, and music. Another great way to sell things online is Craigslist.com.
6. Sell things offline – Another great way to sell things is through garage or yard sales. A great resource to find local yard sales is yardsaletreasuremap.com.
7. Multi-level Marketing – You’ve probably heard of MLM businesses before. Some of the most popular ones are: Mary Kay, Avon, and Amway. The problem is that people have a bad opinion of these types of businesses because not everyone’s a salesman and you’re usually distributing products that people don’t necessarily need or even want to buy. But the flipside, is that these programs have the potential of being highly lucrative. I am the biggest skeptic, and am totally not a salesman, so I only recommend one MLM business. I’ve had tremendous success with this and so have all the people I’ve talked to who have joined. It’s a great product – something everybody not only buys, but needs – and it’s currently ground floor. Check it out!
There you go…a few great ways to start creating additional streams of income. Now, I will say, don’t go into any of them with the impression that you’re going to get rich quick, and then disappointed if you don’t have success. You’re going to have to work – but it will pay off over time. Just pace yourself, and have fun.
Make the most out of every moment…and don’t worry, because if you want something bad enough and work a little bit everyday towards achieving it, then you’ll eventually receive it…it’s the Law of the Universe!
