Multiple Stream Lifestyle
What comes to mind when you think about famous and wealthy people like: Steve Jobs, Donald Trump, and Warren Buffett? Probably all that money they have! Well, I guarantee they didn’t get all that money by investing their time and effort in just one thing. These people have multiple streams of income coming into their lives all the time. That way, if one of them fails, they have the other ten streams to even it out and hold them over.
I was born and raised in a simple, small town. Most people just had one job – maybe two if they were really struggling. And then people had a hobby or something on the side. They could provide everything they needed for their family with that one job – but definitely not everything they ever wanted. But they were content with that – so they passed that way of life on to the next generation.
But then I came along. I knew I was different. I wanted more out of life. I wanted everything I wanted – or at least the means to get it. (And just to so you know, I have no desire to be ridiculously wealthy. I simply want the income to support a comfortable lifestyle, where I can spend most of my time invested in learning new things that spark my interest). Years later I stumbled across a product that suggested the idea of Multiple Streams of Income. I thought that it was ridiculous at first, because it seemed like another one of those programs that some average broke guy came up with, so that everyone would buy it, thinking inside would be the secret to acquiring true wealth, when really it did nothing more than just make that one guy rich. It took a few years for the idea to sink in, but when it did it all became clear. It was possible – and why wasn’t everyone doing this? I thought about it for a long time, and setting up multiple streams is the only way to earn a ridiculously large amount of money. Because, remember, each of us is just one person. We could work all day, everyday, and not make as much money as some of the multi-millionaires we know make in one hour! That’s because they have hundreds of people working for them, making them money, they could never make that much all on their own.
I’m not saying that creating multiple streams of income for yourself is easy, and I’m not saying it’s going to happen over night, but here’s how it works summed up. Start by brainstorming what it is your interested in or ways to create extra streams of money in your life. Then, begin investing time either every day/week or just on some kind of schedule into whatever that idea is. The important thing is to stay consistent. All these great companies started small. The hardest part is making that first transaction. Once, you make your first dollar, it will encourage and motivate you, and if you continue to work at what you’re doing to produce great work, you will see your part-time “hobby” start to snowball. As soon as it does, you can set aside a certain amount of money and invest it in a new idea, and hire someone else to simply manage the first income stream, while you’re still getting residual profits from it. You then take this formula, and simply rinse, lather, repeat and you will start to experience Unlimited Amounts of Success in your life!
A lot of people read an article like this and get excited, but have NO idea where to start. Well, with the magic of the Internet, there are SO Many opportunities today to start making money without having any startup capital, so no one has any excuse not to be making money online these days. And you can use the profits that you earn from these free opportunities to invest in some other venture that might cost you a little something to get started.
There are literally Thousands of ways to make money online, but below I’ve listed just a few:
1. Create a website or blog – I would recommend this to everyone – even if your goal is not to make money It’s just a great way share your hobby with the world, and is a great way to exercise your creativity. A few great places to get a free blog are: Tumblr, WordPress, and Blogger. Starting a blog is a great way to build a fanbase and following online, which may lead to publicity or you coming up with an idea for a product. With these free blog sites, you don’t “need” any programming knowledge, but I would highly recommend learning just a little HTML and CSS, so you’ll be somewhat familiar with how to customize the appearance of your site or blog.
2. Banners & Ads – Once you’ve created your blog, and started to get some traffic, you may want to include some ads, so when users click on them, you’ll receive a commission. Here are some popular programs: Adsense, Buysellads, and Bidvertiser.
3. Open up an online shop – These are FREE! and there’s one for almost anything you can think of, but here are a few of the more popular ones: Cafepress, Zazzle, and Spreadshirt. When users purchase the products you design, you’ll be given a commission.
4. Affiliate programs – In addition to ads and banners, you can also sign up for affiliate programs. They work the same as online shops. When a user clicks on the link to the affiliate site or your page and makes a purchase, you receive a commission off what they bought. Here are some popular ones: Amazon Associates, Commission Junction, and Clickbank – and many popular apparel sites have affiliate sites like Deezteez.
5. Sell stuff online – Ebay and Half.com are great way to clean out your basement or attic of unwanted items you never use. Ebay is a great way to earn some quick cash. And Half.com I like even more, because there are no listing fees, and you can have your item listed until someone buys it. But, Half.com is only for selling books, dvds, games, and music. Another great way for selling and bartering for things online is Craigslist.com. (Check out this inspiring book of how one man traded his way all the way up to a house…from a paperclip!)
There you go…a few great ways to start creating additional streams of income. Now, I will say, don’t go into any of them with the impression that you’re going to get rich quick, and then disappointed if you don’t have success. You’re going to have to work – but it will pay off over time. Just pace yourself, and have fun.
Make the most out of every moment…and don’t worry, because if you want something bad enough and work a little bit everyday towards achieving it, then you’ll eventually receive it…it’s the Law of the Universe!
